Objective Security A film for the Haut-Rhin Local Authority Management Centre (Le Centre de Gestion du Haut-Rhin), after a municipal election. The purpose of the film is to make newly-elected mayors aware of stringent health and safety at work regulations by highlighting several potential risks and dangers in the municipal work-place. In the film, shot in a fictive Alsatian village, the role of the mayor was played by an actor (Martin Adamiec). On the other hand, the municipal workers are real, lent to us by different Town Halls for the purposes of the shoot. Films on Parenting A series of films on parenting, including the system of parental support, the relationship between parents and adolescents, which was made for the Bas-Rhin UDAF, the Departmental Union of Family Assocations (l’Union Départementale des Associations Familiales). These films are used in parental meetings and distributed by the UDAF throughout the whole of France. This award-winning film was conceived, written and played by youngsters of Marlenheim in partnership with the Departmental Youth Council, Ministry of Youth and Sports (Conseil Départemental des Jeunes, Jeunesse et Sports). The Importance of Imaging in New ENT Surgical Techniques The Importance of Imaging in New ENT Surgical Techniques (Apport de l’imagérie aux nouvelles techniques chirurgicales en ORL) A film made with the Ear Nose and Throat Department of Hautepierre Hospital, exploring new ENT surgical techniques. Balthazar Films subsequently made an English version for use in international medical congresses and projections in medical film festivals.
