A 40-minute film on the work of the potters of Betschdorf. The film follows the various steps involved in Betschdorf stoneware manufacture, from turning, drying, decoration and finally to baking at very high temperatures which gives it its typical grey-blue colour.
The film, which presents a whole community, was shot in the workshops of at least fifteen potters, also shows a traditional wood fire kiln.
