A 40-minute film on the work of the potters of Betschdorf.
The film follows the various steps involved in Betschdorf
stoneware manufacture, from turning, drying, decoration
and finally to baking at very high temperatures which
gives it its typical grey-blue colour.
The film, which presents a whole community, was shot in
the workshops of at least fifteen potters, also shows
a traditional wood fire kiln.
