The film takes into account the close relationship between
the work of artist, Dan Steffan, and her preoccupation
with the people of Eastern Europe.
From Alsace to Croatia. From a retrospective exhibition
in Colmar where fourteen very different personalities
individually discuss the theme of their choice with Dan
Steffan, to Dubrovnik where her exhibition was mounted
in the premises of an association dedicated to women war
victims.
There are still traces of the war everywhere, such as
the totally abandoned ghost of the Grand Libertas Hotel.
