We discover the daily work of three trainers based in Alsace and their different styles of stable management and organisation.

We meet Francis Matzinger, who breeds and trains flat-racers (gallopers), Jean-Luc Dersoir who is a private trainer in one of the most important trotting stables in France and an artisan trainer, Denis Bohn, who specialises in trotting.

We follow trainers and horses to the Strasbourg-Hoerdt Racecourse and explore a race meeting from behind the scenes.
