Film Transfers on cassette or DVD Balthazar Films has had a telecinema built which is adpated to different film formats such as 8mm, Super 8, 9.5mm with a single, central perforation, 17.5mm 16mm with different sound configurations, for example optical or magnetic sound track on the film or double magnetic track. To maximise quality, the image is taken directly from the film itself, without a matt screen or mirror. Before transfer, films are cleaned,and treated chemically to make them more supple and defective splices are repaired. Films are digitalised and delivered on digital DVCam cassette or on DVD.
